A lot if you want to use original parts, not so much if you want to use repop stuff.

I really want to buy that gun though just to piss off the OCD collectors.

Its not a bad buy if you dont care about original parts, most of the other 43's on there are going for around $1500. Can't believe someone would do that to it :wtc: If it's just going to be a shooter it could be worth it though could probably save about $500.

Like I said Id buy it to fuck with people. One could easily put it back to a nice condition with some patience.

If you're really looking for one. I know lots of people that deal in these guns that dont aske retarded pricing.

I just missed an all matching K43 with original scope and mount for $2800.:wtc:

I'd love to have an all original one, but if I had one in great shape I'd hate to shoot it alot :o If you come across one at a good price let me know, I don't mind if its mismatched since like I said it'd be a shooter as long as some bubba hasn't butchered it and it looks like its suppose to I'd be happy.

I want a G41 someday but I just don't have the money. G43's are expensive too.

IMO, the prices that everyone's use to seeing are way to overpriced.

I don't see them ever coming down in price though, unless they find a warehouse full of captures in russia or something. I don't even ever remember seeing 41's or 43's real cheap in the past, I do remember seeing SVT's back in the day for $400, I kick myself for not buying one back then now you can't even find those for less then $750.

Nah, they'll never go down in price. But there are prices out there that are just rediculous.

As for Russian captures, Ive heard rumors andwould believe it, that there are more than a couple thousand for sale. Problem is importing them...

One rumor that's been floating for a couple years is that there are 10k G41s for sale in Russia. I believe there would be some, but not that many. But Ive also never been there to look, so it's quite possible.

I don't doubt that, I heard they use to have warehouses full of shit leftover from WWII in case the cold war ever went hot.

They got shit piled up like it's going out of style. Most of its for sale now.

I just dont know if there'd be that many G41s. But a shitload did go to teh east so I dont know...

I do know they have a shitload of 1928 Thompsons stockpiled, because all the ut up parts kits are coming from Russia.

Yeah I never researched into how many of them were sent to the eastern front. Then again I don't know where the factory was either they could of taken that.

Putin needs to scrap the weapons export agreement, from what I understand on our end there would be nothing wrong with bringing in the G's or SVT's, its on their end that they agreed not to export them.

A shitload of guns went to the Russian front, it's was their biggest theatre at the time until the West opened.

I dont know how Russias import/export laws work. These would have no problem being declared sporting rifles. I mean fuck, they sell tanks to private US citizens, why not rifles etc.?

I think it was Bush I that made a verbal agreement with them not to export "nonsporting" arm's to the U.S.

I think Clinton also was the one who banned selling US surplus ammo to civillians too I think. All the 5.56 that the army doesn't use gets burned up :(

A decent SVT-40 i gonna be in the $700-$800 range.

G43, typical shooter, $1500-$2500 depending on various shit.
