    I dont know how to post process for people so these are straight conversions

    I love the look of the ring light, but still learning on how to use it. Im new to teh whole shooting portraits thing. Any pointers or tips would be awesome.

    4. This one was without flash, i like this one alot, i dunno why. but it reminds me of a cd album picture.

    1 and 4 are my only real keepers in my eyes. But what do you guys think, also any good websites on pp for people? Mainly women?

    1 is out of focus, but compositionally a great shot

    i thought so too, i fucked up and accidently focused on the hair i think. But maybe if i soften teh image i can hide it. :mamoru:

    The right eye (her left) is in focus. The other one isn't.

    I don't like the fact that I can see the light is ring-shaped in her eye. :noes: Not that it's a bad thing, just bugs me personally.

    I love that effect :rofl:

    I like #3 the best for some reason.. Have looked at it a few times and can't quite figure out why I like it better than t he others though :hs:

    with diffuser (softbox) and shipping it came out to like 430ish shipped.

    I agree that #4 is the only keeper. Too much highlight in the ringlight pictures.

    That's one of the nice things about the ring light - the catch light is the same shape as the iris. Using a soft box, you'll get a square or octagon catch light reflection.

    found this badass program that helps with photo retouches. its called Imagenomic Portraiture shit works wonders. its like a $200 plug in... anyone want it?

    thats what I use for portraits, but to use it effectively it depends a lot on the photo, clear backgrounds and good skin tones are the best

    i love it, it worked great on this girl and yes she is very attractive. she is cool and a bit goofy too. which i like alot.
