I've never posted a PR before, mostly cuz my numbers are unimpressive to say the least, but I'm really proud of this one. It was a big mental win to get past the 300 mark. My deadlift numbers for the past few weeks: Thursday 3-2-2006: 225x5 235x5 245x5 255x3 270x3 Sunday 3-27-2006: 135x5 185x5 205x5 225x5 245x4 Wednesday 4-12-2006: 185x5 205x5 225x5 245x3 265x1 Tuesday 5-02-2006: 225x5 245x4 Tuesday 5-16-2006: 225x5 275x3 300x2 <--- PR!!!! Someone on another forum encouraged me to go for 300 last week. Didn't think I could do it, but they figured if I could do 270 on my fifth set, then I should be able to lift 300. Tried it yesterday, and after two warmup sets, was able to pull 300 on the first try. Surprised myself by getting it up twice. Called it a day after that. Now my back feels tighter than a nuns ass. Fifteen more pounds and I can have 3 plates on a side, that'll impress the ladies.
