I deadlifted 405 x 3 today. Im super excited about it! There are 2 things about this I would like to note for OT.

I heard Christophers once say that the Deadlift progression can be pretty fast (to a certain weight anyways). I can personally testify that he was completely right. I started deadlifting seriously 6 months ago and with tons of focus on bettering my form I went from a PR of 225 to 405 in less than six months. Im gonna try and get some vid but I can def say there was zero hitching inolved.

Second note is for MaineSucks. I usually listen to AC/DC or some kinda techno/heavy metal playlist during lifting. Last night I put albums on shuffle and M.O.P. came on at the beginning of my session. IT GOT ME SO FUCKIN PUMPED I WANTED SMASH EVERYONE IN THE ROOM, AND POWERCLEAN THEIR SKINNY LITTLE CORPSES!!! :bigthumb:

Now I need advice for some more Gansta Rap to lift to.

PRs now = 285/335/405 (been off AAS for 1 year+)

    thanks, lol.

Thanks! I think being a tall fucker (6'4") helps. Youre like 6'6" right?

Really the biggest thing that helped my gains was enthusiasm. I made constant gains on my DLs (prolly because my form improved quickly) so I was constantly excited to go for more weight.

Wish my bench would go up now :hsugh:
