Pulled 405 today for my last pull.

It was nice to finally break into the 400's. My deadlift has shot up since I've come to school and concentrated on bulking. Went from 300x3 to 405x1 since september. Thing is my bench has been stuck at 160x5 and my squat is stuck at 275x3 (ass to grass). Can you guys suggest some methods to improve my bench or squat. I was thinking of giving box squats a go since we do have the adjustable height boxes at our gym (the ones that stack).

Any ideas? Any help is appreciated. btw.. 21 5'7 and ~210 at too damn high of a bf%.

I am running a shitty split now..

    mon - legs/shoulders

    weds - chest/bis

    fri - back/tris

I switched up bi/tri cause I figured it'd let me work my bi's and tri's a bit harder, and it does. Think this might be holding my bench back (double tricep work?). Reps range depending on if I am going for max effort or dynamic with more reps and lower weights which i like to mix in every other week or so.

Sr20wop- Half thai/half Italian.. Short Crew 4 life! Oh and I think the reason my dead has shot up is since I only had 300lbs at home and I was just doing 11ty billion sets of 300 when I was home. Either way I am loving it.

Lol, that's a nice way to get a 100 lb pr. Honestly, I would reccomend doing something like the Bill Starr 5x5 stuff. That's a great way to bump up your lifts, especially w/ your squat.

I used the bill star routine for most of the summer and thats how my deadlift went from 135-300 (first time deadlifting was when I started the routine). Pretty much the same deal with squat.. bar - 275. Most of the time I try to stick with a 5x5 rep/set scheme as its what I'm used to. But when I drop the weight I like to add more reps.

I wish my DL was that high. I'm pulling 275x8 but benching, say, 185x5

I just wish my bench was somewhat decent. I just want to be able to bench bodyweight atleast once before I start my cut but I don't know if thats going to happen.
