I know it's blurry, but it's insanely hard to get a clear picture of your ear if you're trying to take the picture on your own with a shitty webcam. I don't even know what this one's called but I've wanted it for a couple of months so I figured I'd go for it.

Was kind of a different experience from my other piercings (eyebrow, tragus, navel and madison) 'cause they couldn't clamp the skin... Having the needle freehanded through was definitely new. What I love about this one though is that there's no pain afterwards. I can sleep on it, even accidentally hitting it isn't much more than irritating, no blood, very few crusties... And it's hot :big grin:

nice! i am considering getting that done myself, except having it be more of a surface pericing and using a flatbar rather than through the actual tragus.

operationrob: This one is a surface piercing... Just skin, none of the painful hard to heal stuff.

offbla6k: And the madison was awesome, but that's 'cause I'm an attention whore and loved the looks I got... And man, the questions "Oh my God... That's not a necklace... What is it?" It's a great piercing to have except a pain in the ass to wear with high collared shirts so I took it out come winter. It just got irritated if something was rubbing/catching on it all the time. Which is to be expected I suppose...

Missy: (when I first got it)

It's doing absolutely great. It's looked 100% healed since I got it though. Barely ever hurts. In fact, I could sleep on it the first night. Still itches sometimes, still gets the occasional crustie on it, but it's just really easy. Rarely bump it, hair doesn't get caught on it... All great! :)

I'm not sure about your area, but I just went into my place and said "I want a surface piercing here that goes like this" and they looked at me and said "You'll have to come back in a couple of days for that" I think it's probably just another surface piercing to piercers, but I can't be sure
