    The first one doesn't have anything that really draws you in, no use of DOF to isolate anything etc

    I like the idea and exposure of the 2nd, just not the composition

    Here's the same image after being run through Neat Image. Kinda soft, but less grainy. However, the noise doesn't show at all in an 8x10 print. It's probably from the compression.

    I suppose the first one wouldn't really spark anything unless you were a local around here. These shots were taken at the Ormond Yacht club, one of the oldest original buildings in the area. I was out taking pictures elsewhere and decided to stop and have a look around. I snapped a couple of pictures outside and decided to try one of the doors and see if I could get inside. Sure enough, one of them was unlocked and I went upstairs to find the chair by the window and all sorts of cool setups. However in my haste, I only snapped a few pictures and left since I didn't know if someone would object to me being inside. I'll definitely go for a reshoot though.

    I always have my camera with me. ALWAYS. Hell, I went to see a movie tonight and brought the camera with me. It's hard as hell to fit that huge ol' fucker under a jacket too :hs:
