It's the L69 package. 305 H.O. I believe that it's a different cam and pistons than a regular 305. 5 speed (t-56?), T-Tops, 3.43 running gear I think, working cowl induction, 4bbl Rochester Q-Jet. Stock HP rating is 190, but I hear that GM was bad to under-rate HP stock, but who really knows.

It serves the purpose for now. :big grin: I'm thinking about what I want to do to it. The car has 60,000 original miles (6,000 by me) and I would like to build it. I hear that some Corvette heads will bolt right up and with a little mill work can bump it up to 10.5:1 compression. I also hear that the 96-up 305 vortec heads will bolt up as well.

Then again, I wouldn't mind putting a modified 350 in it and keeping my 5.0 H.O. badging on it and making a bit of a sleeper out of it.

Forgot working on the 305. Save for a 350 swap. Even a close to stock 350 will mop the floor with a bolt on 305.

Oh yea, go Fuel Injected while your at it.
