Local shop was having a huge sale. I have been drooling over these for awhile and decided to do it. :bigthumb:

Gross. What an abomination of the 1911 line. SA should use that pistol on themselves.

I like it, but I like the Springfield V10 better.

Is that a 3" or 3.5" 1911? I don't keep up with the model names. I have been thinking about picking up a Officers size 1911 to carry sometimes. I like my Gov't, but it's big, and the Makarov is much easier to conceal under a teeshirt, figuring the Officers would be similar.

    Sweet handgun.

Let us know how reliable and accurate it is. I plan on buying a compact in August if I have the money... hopefully I do

It is a 3'. I wanted something small to carry when I didn't feel like carrying my full size Glock.

It is VERY similar in size to the Colt Officer's model that my father has.

I like the commander sized 1911's. That's perfect for me. I've fired a Kimber Ultra Carry, and it's just not fun to shoot.

    ***Update***

The gun shot like crap at the range and I have since sold it. I am sure that it was due to fact that the barrel is so short but I couldn't deal with it.

I am not sure. I have shot other compact barrelled guns and they were not that bad. This thing was so far off it was stupid.

I carry a 9mm XDSC and for me personally it's been 100% reliable and just as accurate as my Service model. which makes it the the most accurate Sub Compact I have shot. Since the grip and angle are similar, if the XD shoots as bad as the micro 1911 did, then it's more likely your grip on the gun.
