    Its interesting..

    maybe try cropping off the top of the image where you can see the background... it kinda changes the shot abruptly and makes my eye keep looking up at that instead of the foreground..

    i think this is a good "texture" shot, not a good macro or "landscape" shot.. if that makes sense.

    also a shallower depth of field with a focus in the center or slightly towards the rear of the image might give that texture a neat effect....

    contrast/brightness seems fine as well as saturation...

    i wasn't doing macro it just came out like that. i was going for a totaly diferent feel i just couldn't get it right, so i was stuck with these
