I just put together a new computer and when I power it up the Hard Drive starts and the light goes on, all the fans start (including the one on the video card) but the moniter is not getting a signal. It beeps once. I thought maybe the RAM was bad so I replaced it and it did not help. I know the moniter is good because I used it on my previous computer, same with the video card. How can I get a signal?

Turn on your computer and as soon as you hear that beep, press the reset button and see if it kicks the moniter on.

test monitor on another pc. or try a known working monitor on your pc. if they dont work then your vid card is bad.

Sounds like you didn't connect both power connectors to the MOBO... Did you check both connections, the larger one and the smaller 4 prong one next to the RAM slots?
