:ugh: Anyone else see these pieces of shit? Good God the Navy's getting softer and softer every day :uh: More and more like the Chair Force!

And the Khaki's look more like fucking Business Suits the Military Uniforms :coolugh:

I'm preparing to order new uniforms for the Hubs and I'm just like :barf: I mean, they weren't the best looking uniforms before but now they're even worse!

I can't seem to find any that I can post :sad2:

But they're hideous. I mean, literally hideous. Not that Utilities were the greatest looking working uniform, but these digital gray or blue Camo's are disgusting! And don't get me started on the enlisted Working or Dress uniforms :ugh:

Is this the first you've seen them? I've seen them at various Navy installations since last year. I thought they officially rolled them out Navy wide Oct 2008.

I have a question that's kinda off topic. Are Marines not allowed to wear their uniform in public? I always see Army walking around the city in their ACU's, but I've never seen a Marine in his combat uniform.

Army are encouraged to do so. Marines are allowed to as I have seen them. You are allowed to be in public but there are regs in place for things you should/shouldnt do.

Being deployed with US Central Command gave me the opportunity to work with all branches. The new Navy uniform is ridiculous. The blue digi camo is weird, and the kakhi is just stupid.
The Marines have strict wear policies about their uniform. Technically, they can only wear them to and from duty. Most are encouraged to wear Civies in and change once they get to work. So, yeah. They are crazy uptight about their regs. But don't waste the time argueing over anything with them... One of the SSgt's was convinced the new AF uniform was blue... Srsly...

Army is encouraged to wear their uniform as a "recruiting" tool. To me, it seems a bit.... odd.... But that's just how it goes.

I was in the Navy from 1995-2001 (Nuke ET) I can't stand the digital camo uniforms for any of the branches, much less the Navy.

I always liked the Working Blue uniform (Johnny Cash or Waffen SS) I alway thought that those looked pretty freaking sweet.

    Yep.

Up until recently, the only uniform we could wear was the Blues. Current policy allows the wearing of the ABUs if travelling on official orders. Although, I was encouraged to wear civies. I was only going to Tampa....
