I use cytosport's whey since it's really cheap and mixes nicely, these could be interesting to get new flavors though.

Their flavors are nice apart from the strawberry/banana one. It's not bad but there's no banana flavor at all and it almost taste like red sugar anyway. Chocolate Mint is the best but it's a little bit bland.

I'd like to try muscle milk but cant justify paying twice as much as normal whey.

What a rip, you get 1.65lbs of Muscle Milk light protein for $22.00 vs. 2.65lbs of regular Muscle Milk protein for $22.00.

In the end, the only thing lighter will be your wallet.

Yeah, I was just looking at it and thought that was a really small amount. I can't find an ingredients list for it either, now i'm suspicious.

yeah check this out, most of the difference is that they just lowered the serving size

a serving of muscle milk is 75g and has 350 cals.

for the light version, they reduced the serving size to only 50g for 195 calories.

75g of MML, an equivalent amount to the original, would have almost 300 calories, for a difference of a whole 50 calories between the two. Big deal.

and the best part is, rather than at least keep the jug at 2.6 lbs and give you more servings, they made the container smaller (1.6lbs) and kept the servings at 30 per container for the same price

why not mix one scoop of MM with 1 scoop of whey protein, the MM flavor is still there if you use a good flavor combo
