I have a compatability question about my computer. I've just recently purchased an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard (to go with my new AMD64 x2 4400 proc ); my OS is currently running off dual 36GB WD Raptors in a RAID-0 array.
Will it be necessary to reinstall my OS? Or is there a clean way to install the new mobo and avoid having to reinstall everything?

It will depend on if the array controllers will recognize each other's arrays. Honestly though, you would be better off reinstalling Windows.

Whatever you do back up anything you want to keep before you do it.

Yes, different array most likely even if it's identical it's a bad idea to not do a fresh install with a new motherboard.
