Hello Mac Shack, It's been a while. About a year and a half ago, I sold my old powerbook and built a gaming PC with two 28" Hanns-G Monitors with 1920x1200 resolution. Well, for film school I need a Mac again, solely for Final Cut Pro, and would prefer a Macbook Pro over a Mac Pro, but want to utilize my dual monitors at maximum resolution, IS THERE A WAY to do this on the new Macbook Pros?

    Thanks,
    Mike

didn't notice any issue... both using mirrored display and extended mode it worked flawlessly, just like i was running through a video card...
I was doing video work/video playback/demo animation and never an issue...

so just to clarify with this box I could have my Macbook Pro closed, through the display port connect to one monitor, and to the other i could connect to a second monitor, and one of the screens would mirror the desktop, and one screen would be extended of desktop?
