Just got a new macbook. It's pretty cool, but I have to admit I'm pretty lost from years of using windows.

    1. Can I file share with vista?
    2. Can I remote desktop into a Windows computer?

you can share with vista, you need to know the IP address of the computer running vista though...

in finder go to go - connect with server (type "smb://192.168.1.1")

not sure about the other though
