My black macbook should be here next week. I would like to use bootcamp and be able to triple boot OSX, XP and Ubuntu.. Is there a nice walkthru on this? Ive found some not very helpful walkthrus for XP only.. but not for all three.

I'd like to use bootcamp if possible.

I plan on running it like that until I can upgrade to 2 gigs of RAM then switch to running Ubuntu and XP in parralles.. but I think it would be killer laggy with on 1gb of ram.

Download boot camp. It comes with an extensive manual. Read it, then ask questions.

Boot camp only lets you install windows, other OS's require some easy work arounds, look around on the ubuntu forums, there's walk throughs on there to install both.

Why would you want ubuntu when you have OS X though? I use ubuntu on my desktop, but see no need on my blackbook

someone on here wrote up a walkthrough on their blog a few weeks ago, try tooling around the old posts a bit :dunno: I forgot to bookmark it myself :o

also, I run ubuntu in a virtual machine on my mbp. There are still software packages out there that haven't been ported to OS X, mostly stuff that requires linux drivers or other shit... so it has its uses.

have you concidered installing parallel's and running it that way?
should be easier to install all 3 without using bootcamp.
