    Halp!

I am going to Hawaii next month, and I want a ultra wide to go in my bag with me...I am torn between the Tokina 12-24 f/4 or the Siggy 10-20 f/4-5.6

I do shoot weddings alot, and this would be a great addition to my bag of tricks, but does the extra 2mm on the Siggy, worth the speed? The constant aperture of the Tokina appeals to me, and with better build quality too.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is for Nikon mount. :noes:

If you're doing weddings, I'd do the Tokina 12-24 with the static aperture. I'm not a wedding photog or anything, but it seems like you'd run into a lot of low/bad light situations where it could be a matter of missing a shot or not.

I love the fucking shit out of my Sigma 10-20....I haven't used the Tokina but I would think the more wide the better.

@ 10mm you don't need really fast shuterspeeds anyway....you should be able to hand hold at 1/10 or so. Unless your subject is running or otherwise being a fucking idiot.

    10mm is 20% wider than 12mm....
