I'll stick with my Wave. One of the sharpest knife blades I have used and it's constantly being used. Just noticed they redesigned it though with a new belt clip. Looks like I may have to give this one to my nephew and get a new model :)

School me on blade material. What is wrong with 420? I know tons when it comes to kitchen knives being that I'm a chef but I am stoopid when it comes to pocket knives.

It's a nice idea if not the best material. Just a knife with the most common tools instead of a tool with a little knife.

420 is basically bottom of the barrel stainless. It's very soft, doesnt hold and edge well, and is generally found in very cheap knives. If you want a good stainless knife look for ATS-34, 154-CM, or 440A, B, or C, A being decent for an every-day utility knife and C being the best of the three. AUS-6, 8, and 10 are good also and pretty close to the 440s (6 being about equal to A, 8 to B, etc).
