Mine was very reliable, but the trigger is LONG and the break is very mushy. It's a tricky trigger to master.

I can understand wanting a cheap gun for the car in case its stolen, but if its something I might bet my life on, I'd get a trade in Glock or S&W 3rd gen or even chip in the extra $100 for a M&P9, anything with a better trigger.

I would be very, very hesitant to trust my life to anything made by Kel-Tec.

You can get a glock for $350 is great condition... I'd much rather do that.

As a keltec owner, I agree. If you're just leaving your gun in the glove box you might well put something big in there. But then again if you're leaving it in the glove box maybe its worthless to leave anything in there :big grin:

It'll melt like a Snickers bar in your glove compartment.
Honestly, why go Cheap Charlie on something that will save your life?

I'm not really one to talk, but if it's in the glove box it probably isn't going to save your life.

summitgunbroker.com has a bunch of cheap glocks right now, also some S&W 59/69 stainless pistols.

i own a kel tec and a full sized glock 21. i like the kel tec because i know that ill be able to do damage within 7 yards however i feel more confident and comfortable with the glock. ive thought deeply in the past few weeks of sucking it up and just carrying a glock 17. the only reason i use the kel tec now is because i wear gym shorts and the clip provides extra support.
