Got this in 2 days ago-Spyderco C60S Massad Ayoob. I'd been looking for one for a while, but as they are OOP, the prices have been a little more than I wanted to pay. Someone posted a link on the Spyderco Forums to a site-apparently Massad's ex-wife bought all of the remaining stock of the C60s when it went out of production, and that's who I got it from.

Guava cut from my tree for size reference and color.

Sounds like a nice purchase, but I agree...not the most attractive knife lol

lol, that's funny. I actually like it because of its looks, not in spite of them. It is unbelievably mean and purposeful in person. It's also a handful, and the workmanship and ergonomics on it are amazing. When the blade locks, it feels like a bank vault door slamming shut.

I like it. It's all business. How much was it and how hard are they to get? It actually looks like a Spyderco I'd carry.

$140 + 7.00 shipping. It is kind of a rare knife now that it's OOP, and like I said, the quality is astounding. I went to a Gunshow yesterday and held a wide range of what I would consider quality knives, and nothing came close.

Massad's ex-wife bought the remaining stock when they were no longer going to be produced. Here's the link.

She only has the Spyderedge in stock, and you have to be sure to specify whether you would like the rougher handle or the more polished handle.

    Glad someone finally likes it!

I've got 4 different Guava trees, 2 different Starfruit, White Sapote, Tamarillo, Papaya, Pumelo, Blood Orange, Lemon, and a whole shitload more. I've even managed to get a mango seedling to survive nearly 2 years in the ground.
