Close fitted button down shirts and jeans is getting old, and so is the blazer and jeans combo.
I've always been a fan of striped dress shirts under vneck long sleeve sweaters.
that combo and look is for the office and going to work. I think its strange when people where that to a club. It can get hot and sweaty in a club especially if its packed and u are dancing.
tight-fit polos and jeans have always worked pretty well for me.
How about going back to the 70s and 80s with a vest?
I've been doing the sweater vest recently with positive results.
A lot of people were dressing casually this past weekend. T-shirts and such. Don't know if you want to go that route
I wore a black tshirt w/ a funny saying on the front over an off-white button down collared dress shirt, stuck out the sleeves and collar, tucked in the dress shirt, left the tshirt out, and jeans... it looked hawt! and i never think i look hot lol
I lost you at "I wore".
I actually tried something the other month when I went out to a birthday party (abietly at a lesbian bar). What I did was swallow my gumption and finally wore that damn ugly Purple Tommy long sleeve shirt I owned, but never wore cause it was ugly (but could never throw away because it was Tommy) and wore it with a pair of white band pants. Funnily enough the shirt became less ugly with the white band pants (or maybe I was deluded), and it certainly beat the old button down shirt.
