im adding a second drive to my pc, i checked it out last nite and i see that theres a port left on the ide cable with my original harddrive. however, theres an old floppy drive on there as well. the issue is, i looked at my mobo specs online and it says it supports 4 IDE devices. (i have 2 burners on another ide cable) so will my harddrive work considering ive reached the maximum or will i need to disconnect the floppy drive? link to mobo

The floppy is a diffrent interface. as long as you have a open stop on the same cable as your old HD your good to go. just make it a slave and your good to go
