I ran into an old friend last night at a wedding and he mentioned he had a 1970 Scout for sale. I went and got it today :kdubbd:

    1970 International Scout 800A
    304 V8 - 4 speed manual
    ~16000 original miles
    Very little rust
    Runs great.

I have the original front bumper also.

I've always wanted a scout... I'm fucking happy.

Make sure you bring a socket set with you when your driving.

    CHEAP

It honestly wouldn't matter to me if it had. It's spent it's whole life on a deer lease.

Only one hole in the floor in the back seat area. I'm going to patch it up and bedliner the inside.

I can drive through anything and not worry about it ;)

It'll have it's own tool set shortly.

  7. I want a 4wd vehicle. It's snowy up here, and my car is totally worthless in any amount of snow whatsoever. :wtc:

All three of our vehicles are 4x4.
    Two have removable tops.

That's just a nice patina, not bad for a 38 year old truck;)

I guess I forgot how rarely you see one on the road these days. Everyone I passed or that passed me on the way home stared at it the whole way by:cool:
