    so i cant even charge my battery right now cause im in europe and i need a converter from US to EURO spec plug :( ahh

    Put the contacts on your tongue of the charger with the battery plugged in
    Rub your hands together really fast to generate electric charge.

    if you insist on a UV filter for it, i have a rodenstock 77mm clear UV that is amazing. $110 and the coating is phenomenal. nothing sticks to it at all.

    B&H has them

    i dont know enough about photography to get the different types of shaded filters and such. i just want something to protect my "investment" lol

    It doesn't do jack shit for the pictures. It's merely a $100 insurance policy for the front of your lens. Some people use them, others don't use them.

    I have this exact one on my Tokina 11-16. It's mainly because I can never tell how close I am to something and often bump in to shit.

    I almost got a 24-70, but played with that range a bit with my 28-135 and decided to get the 16-35 II for the 1.6 crop. That gives me almost the same range as the 24-70 on a FF, just a little short.
