Wow, those exact seeds would cost you like $7 at Home Depot.

:nono: Those are hybrid seeds. LaRue is selling non-hybrid seeds.

Of course, Hoss needs to go help Arfcom out a bit with its recognition of LaRue pepper greatness

if there's ever been a more suitable time, I can't think of it.

Wrong answer. Try planting the seeds you harvest from something you grew from seeds you got at Home Depot or Wal-Mart.

Those seeds are OPEN POLLINATED and NON-HYBRID, which means once you sucessfully grow those bitches once, you can harvest the seeds and save them for the next year.

Not sure I agree with the price... I guess that depends on how MUCH of each different one is in there. If it's a #10 can, it could be quite a lot. Once spring rolls around, it'd be nice to compare that with what you'd find in the store. Also, being SEALED in that can, you could stick 'em in the freezer, and keep them 'till they're needed. If you're into prepping for a survival situation, existing food, no matter how much you've got, will only last until it runs out. Open-pollinated seeds are the gift that keeps on giving.
