Apparently Ford forgot that its 2007 and not 1997. Oh well

    And why 4 cupholders?

Heres a more practical Ford van interior. The new Transit which we most likely wont see over here

It's a work van, who gives a fuck what it looks like? They're supposed to be cheap and dependable, not luxurious.

nobody who buys this shit cares about interior design

Most E-series are fleet or construction people; they want cheap and dependable...

Yeah, a standard transmission. That's practical for a Ford van.

id rather sit in a vehicle that reminds me that its 2007 and not 1997. Even if it is a work van, I would want it to look half-assed modern. Is it really that hard to design a new interior or is Ford just that broke that they can't afford it?

And who cares that its a work/fleet van. People are still buying these for personal use. And there will be tons of RV's based on the platform.

In Europe it is. But yea, no American would want that shit. But its just an example. They offer it in an auto as well. But you missed the point is that the interior is pimp.

If its used for construction, the interior is going to be trashed inside of 2 years. Who cares what it looks like as long as it runs every morning? Keeping it the way it is keeps costs down and sales up.

I buy vans for business purposes and have no complaints about my Ford van. It's been very dependable. And I seriously don't give a fuck whether the interior looks "modern" or not. In the meantime, I was born in the 50s and most things made after the 80s look modern to me.

I agree. But its still ugly. Surely it doesn't cost much to design a new interior, or somehow stick the interior from the super duty in there. This, combined with no diesel is just another reason to buy a Sprinter I guess. At least you know you are getting quality there.

Ford vans outsell Chevy 3 to 1. And Dodge vans barely register on the scale.

    Who fuckin' cares?
