    reps x weight

    8x135
    8x225
    8x225
    3x295

I was disappointed to only get 3 reps (I was going for 6).

I use an over-under grip and I was wondering if I should be switching up which hand is over and which hand is under between sets or between weeks. Will one side get "stronger" or should I not worry about it?

As of right now, I always have my right hand under because my left forearm (where the muscle meets the bone on the left side) starts to really hurt after a while when I put it under (not the good kind). If I should be switching up, I'll try to adjust so it doesn't hurt as much.

Edit: Quick rant--the tools were out in full-force at my gym today. People doing squats with 2 plates on each side and just making it half way to parallel before going back up with a loud grunt. The spring break crew was there too, they were all doing biceps and bench

    not bad.

as for the over/under approach. i like it a ton better. i do right hand under left hand over. i havn't noticed any visible difference. i just know my right grip has always been stronger.

on a side note : i ripped a callous off my hand doing 405 rack pulls. and some tools were doign the same, squating 3-6 inches above parallel with like 245. there were 4 or 5 of them and i didn't see one hit parallel.

I use a supinated grip and it's helps my grip a lot.

My issue with deads is that my grip gives out before my body does. My best for reps was 315x4 and I had to drop the weight because I kept losing grip :hs:

I prefer over/under. I switch up which is over and which is under based on what feels better that day.
