It's not much compared to you animals, but it's a PR:

    135x10
    225x6
    315x2
    365x1

I went for 365 last week, but missed it and ended up doing 335x1 for my last set. My previous PR of 355x1 was set 2 or 3 weeks ago, so it's nice being able to best that by 10lb a week after missing it.

I'm hoping I can get a 400x1 before the end of the year, but that seems highly unlikely :o

35 pounds would be a shitload of a gain in only 15ish days

    good job though

word... maxed out at 375 a couple months ago, still haven't even tried 405. I could probably get it but I don't feel safe doing it, and I have no point risking injury just to find out what my 1RM would be.

I know, but I think if I do some auxiliary work on my hamstrings I could bump up my deadlift by a good amount.

My only problem with deadlifting is breaking it off the floor...once I get it a couple inches off the ground the rest is relatively easy.

My lower back is a fucking tank...the middle and upper portions of my back curve a good amount (probably because I practically stiff-leg it up), but that's due to very poor posture for the last 8-10 years of my life.

    Great job man.

My PR is 300 even. I'd suck a dick to get 365.

I love hitting PRs, good job.

I haven't maxed on deadlifts yet. Doing them for reps for another few weeks since I just started doing them. I just did a set of 8 at 225 so my max would be maybe 275? I need to do 3 plates by the end of Feb.

I remember reading your 355 thread a few weeks ago. On Tuesday, I hit 355 and I thought about your thread right after I put the weight down :o

    My progression that day was:

    -bar
    -135x10
    -225x10
    -275x6
    -315x4
    -335x2
    -355x1

I think I can go for higher - 355 went up pretty easy.

mine was that way up until recently... i could bend down to touch my toes and my lower back just wouldn't round. Once I fixed my hip mobility though that changed, plus I think the real heavy (for me) deadlifts curving my lower back by force also made it gain mobility.

Still need to work on thoracic spine mobility though.

My semen contains 830g of protein. It just might work.

300 was the hardest for me to break. I remember being stuck on 295 for the longest time. One day I just threw 315 on there and managed to get it up.

    :h5:

I use a shoulder-width stance with my toes pointed slightly out. I've been meaning to give sumo a try...are there any benefits to using a sumo stance?
