i had some weider plates on there that are in even KG's, not lbs, so they're 22lbs and 11lbs :mamoru:

last time i did deads was almost 2 years ago and my PR was 315x2

that video today helped me, seeing that guy do deads and not use his legs at all. i did my best to keep my head up and my legs out of it as much as possible and it seemed to work.

405 is on the horizon, noobie gains ftw. :x:

Congrats. I recently revamped my form as well and my legs stay pretty silent during the pull. It has made soooooo much difference in my lifting!

i used to touch and go but this time it seemed easier to lift, drop it dead, loosen grip, repeat

    edit:

i might build a small platform so i'm not wasting energy on the negatives. i try to not slam the weights down on the patio. :mamoru:

i'll also do less sets building up.

    i did something like 135, 185, 255, 275, 321 all in sets of 5reps

    nice to BE lifting again.

we were lifting a bit when i moved down here and into bro-n-laws house, lifting in bro-n-law's garage gym. just bench, squats, pullups type stuff when we had time. maybe some rack pulls here and there but i was still having issues with a sore soras(sp) muscle.

Since we moved to our own place, i havent had a gym membership or weights to do anything with. That's been since september. I finally got some squat stands out back, a bar, some plates, and good weather.

Don't downplay yourself just because there are stronger people out there. Be motivated by the fact that you can already DL more than 98% of people and you're just getting started.
