i know this is nothing for most of you broly bastards but i'm pretty excited.

i started working out in january @ 340lbs and could barely push out 90lbs on the cable machine. current weight is 246lbs

obviously my main goal has been weight loss but today after a short warm up i hit:

    15 x 35
    15 x 45
    9 x 65's :o
    10 x 45

like i said this is nothing for you guys but i'm hella excited. :x:

:werd: Staying injury free is key. By the time my shoulder and knee heal, I expect my bench will have dropped close to 60-70lbs :(

nice! a pr is still a pr and it only means that you are definitely progressing :)

i'm gonna do DB flat bench tommorow as well, first time since....back in july or something, hopefully aiming to get 70+ (i did get 60 for an easy 6 last week on incline so i should hit this...and i've done it before....) it definitely helps that i'm eating more (trying to add a bit of weight) so i definitely have a lot more energy

    keep hitting those prs man

    good job.

i enjoy 1rm prs, though i know those don't mean everything. that said, i can't set anymore since my stupid gym goes up to 100lbs on dbs. i guess my prs will have to come from higher reps.

congrats man..im still a total noob myself, but I was pressing like 60's and then I worked on my form a bit and concentrated on straightening my arms to get them up initially- in no time I was adding weight...could do 5-6 reps of 75's a short time later.
