    New Critical MS Patches - **Potential Problem**

    edit:

    several people on bugtraq are reporting 100% cpu usage after applying the rpc patch on win2k machines. i have not had an issue on nt4 or xp but i have not installed on win2k.

    ^ i *really* need to get with the times.

    i'm poised to release them, but i ain't doing it until someone responsible for testing at the enterprise level says "go". ms04-007 had lockup issues

    Yeah, notice I was just syncing the packages on the server. I will spend some time tomorrow testing the packages out before I aprove the globably.

    We have it installed on about 70 2k machines, and as of yet I haven't heard anything.

    Seems to be working fine on our WinXP boxes.



    We use GFI Languard to push out updates and whatnot. Interesting little app :bigthumb:
