My sister just bought a new computer. It's a Hp Pavilian Slimline running Vista Home. She hooked it up to her monitor which is a MAG innovations 700p. (Lt717s) After about 10 minutes the video craps out. Screen displays waves across the screen wiping out everything and making it completely unvieable. Rebooting the computer fixes the problem.

The latest video card drivers have been installed and the monitor does not have any drivers for vista. Display is setup correctly at 1024/768. Don't know what else to do besides take the computer back.

    Any suggestions?

try another monitor, but if that doesnt help call hp

thats why you buy manufactured machines, for the warranty when they break
