I am stuck for graphics card and DVD burner at this point. I need to add a mouse and keyboard, but just looking for something that will last, not fancy. My main goal for this new system is :
    1. DVD burning (back ups)
    2. video editing (mpg's, dvd, stuff from television so need input ability too, etc.) nothing super high tech, but would like to put some car footage together, that kind of thing
    3. music editing for mp3's, custom ring tones
    4. internet browsing while being able to burn a cd/dvd, etc and not have the compuyter locking up, etc.
    5. Budget of ~$1100 including windows XP ready to go. I know the other software for editing is going to cost, but I am just factoring the cost for hardware and XP at this point. Based off New Egg prices I am at $592 now.

Any other things I should add, or a more cost effective route please chime in. I already have a bluetooth adapter (worth getting a card, only run my phone with this so far?), monitor and that's it.

maybe a 9600xt for a gfx card, not too expensive and it'll run all your games well.
