What do you guys think? Does the name work?
    Think it'll make a hit?
I'm trying to get opinions from random people other than friends and family. Any kind of opinions appreciated to better ourselves.

They're pretty simple designs, but it's just a way to get our name out there and make some money to make better designs with more colors for our next set of prints.

Hey. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated man :bigthumb:

Is the font too condensed and small?

not really typeset in there well at all. i like the other two because graphical and simple and a quick read. i would have just went with the graphic or printed the name on the back or something.

Pretty sick. I prefer simple designs, I hate t-shirts with too much going on.

    Thanks mang. :)

Yeah. That's what we're going for. Simple, to the point ideas and designs. Much like Supreme, Huf, Visvim, etc., but with different concepts and ideas.

Haha. I haven't heard the Huf similarity before. That one's new.
I've heard from two other people (not online) about the other two similarities.

Is it bad that people get the impression that it looks similar? (Wasn't intentional)
Would it deter away a lot of people including hypebeasts?

    True.

How did the 'clothing company' go? Was it really slow at the beginning? I'm just wondering what I should be expecting and when to start from scratch if this doesn't pick up.

it was successful because i just made a few designs based on a 'gimmick'
so i knew the demand was there and started selling well right off the bat. friends told their friends at other schools and i got a decent amount of orders from all over the state. I'd say in all I probably sold 300-500 shirts. I made low runs of personal designs just for fun too, but they obviously didnt have as big of a mass market appeal

as for starting a legitimate clothing company, it's a really hard industry to break into. every asshole thinks he can just silkscreen a few shirts and become the next Volcom. The market is so saturated since overhead is low so everyone is selling wares.

I'd say if you really want to pursue this and become 'big', the best approach would to be find a niche to cater to. Get in with that niche and either sponsor or do some collabs with the big names of that arena.

oh, also since you're going through paypal, under the merchant section, they have button templates you can use and throw up on your site

that way people dont have to email you to order. it sends them right to paypal and sends you an invoice

the easier you make it for the customer, the better ;)

What's the other shirt printing option besides silkscreening?

There's Direct to Garment (DTG) and Heat press transfer. There might be other options but that's all I know.

Yeah. They do a really good job at a reasonable price. They're based in LA. And I found from their facebook group that they even printed for The Hundreds and Five Four at one time in the past. :eek3:

    Still working on that.

So far we made a group on Facebook and invited all our friends. We're gonna make a Myspace page for it also.

Oh and we might make stickers and give to friends and stick them on random places. Also, my friend has a dSLR, so if there's time, we want to do a photoshoot with our three shirts because seeing on people looks better than just the t-shirt itself.

And, that's all we've thought of so far.
