Im currently with cingular and am looking at sprit. Sprint users how has your luck been with them?
I had the worst time with Sprint, so I left them for AT&T.
Depends on what region of the coutry you are in, Sprint has some nice phones, but to me if you don't get their Free and Clear America (Roaming) package the coverage sucks. Just make sure you don't go for the free or really cheap phones, you will have a much better experience if you pay a few bucks up front and get a decent phone.
I have had Sprint for years (since '99 or so) and never had a problem with it. I find coverage in the area where I am fine. In the past, I have on occasion found someone on the phone at customer service not very helpful, however that can happen with any service. You will probably find different opinions from everyone.
Sprint is for people with little/no/terrible credit... Most CDMA users I know go for Verizon.
A lot of that has to do with what area of the country you are in, sprint has good coverage on the east coast and in the great lakes area.
Verizon is also good in those areas and also DC/VA/NJ/PA areas. Agreed though, CDMA does better in certain areas but where I'm at GSM is good stuff.
In the end, this is probably the primary factor I look at.
My experience with Sprint wasn't that good and now i'm with verizon.
I've always been happy with Verizon. has worked well everywhere I have traveled too.
Same here...After Dec I think I will go with AT&T. They have some cool Blue tooth phones
After December there will be no more AT&T Wireless. Cingular bought them out and everything is suppose to go into effect then.
...assuming that the merger gets approved by big brother.
I think it will. AT&T is suffering and there is still competition in the market. Only thing is there is no major 850mhz competition after the deal is done. Anti-trust laws are a must so that might stop cingular if they don't go about this right.
*2, Talk...1..."Dropped Call Credit"... ... End
Horrible reception in my neighborhood
