Thought this would get more serious and less flaming than offtopic. My g/f is in the market for a new car. We have narrowed it down to 2 possibilities...mabye a 3rd depending on the test drive.

    06 Acura TL w/ navi
    06 IS250 AWD w/ navi
and possibly an 06 TSX w/ navi

She will be commuting about 24miles each way to work. It is all major highway except the 2 miles between the highway and our house. I'm leaning toward the TL since it's the best value/feature packed car. She really wants the IS but realistically its about 40k with xenons and navi. I just find it hard to believe that the car doesn't have xenons as a base feature...unless I'm misreading something. Anyway, any recommendations or input would be great. I know both the IS and TL are great choices, but i would just like some opinions on the two. Also any other recommendations in that price range would be great. I want to stay around mid 30's msrp.

I like the lexus too, but it feels like we have to pay 5k more for the same shit. Granted it's awd, but it majorly snows mabye 3-4 times a winter here, and the highways are cleared almost instantly. Also, shes been getting around with fwd with no problems for the past 4 years. Also, how is lexus to deal with, granted that depends on how many cars the dealer has in stock and whether or not it's year end. I know our local acura dealer has 15 tl's in stock...about half with navi in the colors we want. Plus it's model year end so I could negotiate a tl a bit lower than msrp...however the lexus dealer has 4 isawd's in stock..only 3 with navi. So I'd think it would be hard to negotiate there. Also only two of the three are navi w/ luxury package.

Anyone have any ownership experiences with these cars?

if you have testicles and are not gay, then do not buy the wrx.

Of what you list, the TL is the best car for the money, imo.

You are getting Lexus quality, look on any quality survey and look who is near or at the top.
I like the new TL's too, my sis in law has one, but if given the choice I would go lexus

The one TL I drove was so quirky and suffered badly from torque steer on the freeway, I was dizzy when I got out of the car.
