Canon needs to stop dicking around with entry level bodies and get their next FF body out on the market. The 5D replacement is overdue.

lame...the biggest improvement is the addition of the IS lens.

the screen's similar to the d40 info screen.

i think most novices are going to be mislead by the live view option if it's like the 40D. They're going to be unhappy when they find out there's no AF when using live view.

its up on canon's website. its .12 in wider, .09 taller, and .16 in narrower than the xti. also weighs by 35g 1.2 ounces.

the main thing that could have swayed me away from a 40d was the width bc the reason i didnt like the xt/xti was it was too narrow. if it had gotten wider i might have looked, which of course it did. but i think ill probly go 40d anyway plus its a much better camera.

    its body is also smoother.
