I like the parts with the exception of the PSU. I think you're better off getting one of the modular Corsair power supplies. Most 700W PSU's will have a ton of extra wires, and you'll end up trying to hide a mass of cables the size of a can of coke.

What are you doing for video?

Also, with NCIX make sure you go into their sale page by clicking the flash banner. There can be a difference of 20% or more for the parts that are on sale.

Hey Dan513 thanks for the reply.
I have changed my PSU to actually the corsair 650tx or something
Its not the modular one but it is cheaper, Trying to keep costs down.
THe case i will be putting it in is the Coolermaster cosmo 1000 (got it cheap)

And also i will be PM those prices with other stores (anitec and a-power/tigerdirect). I want to get it all from NCIX though because its easier that way.

I am still debating on the video card. 8800gts 512 seems to be the no brainer. (i run a 22inch monitor)

but i'm debating if i should hold out and see what ati is offereing soon. Also to see the next gen nvidia cards. FOr now i'll throw in my old x800 gto2...haha....i know i know...new computer crappy old vid card...

    Any other suggestions?

You might not even need to pricematch, for instance, that mobo is $16 cheaper if you go through the sale.

I've got both an 8800gtx and an 8800gts, and the gts is a touch faster at benchmarking, but no possibility you'd notice any difference when using it.

Hey yeah thats what i've been told that the 8800gts is a great card to get.
If i PM some of hte components i save maybe a hundred bucks here and there all together. Not that big but still.

Yeah so the build looks good?
    What are you running?
