Need some advice on a new rig, used to build all my stuff back in the day but recently I've lost touch with the market. Duo this Quad that, i don't really have a clue.

This seems a decent deal after having shopped around online, but with the pre built rigs you can usually guarantee that short cuts are made somewhere.

pros? cons? is SLi really worth it right now? etc etc

    any input/advice is appreciated

    :)

another site i have been looking at, they seem very expensive for what I'm getting compared to the first unit i linked. That might be a good thing though if the build quality and package is better.

I'd probably have to pay monthly installments if i bought one of these though...

by Jan-Feb 08, that PC in your link is outdated.

At that time, a Yorkfield (Penryn) Quad, an X48 mobo, and a Nvidia 9 Series card is the new hotness.
