Easier access to information, like contents of your IPOD, it uses a trackpad-style touch strip, which lets you scroll through menus instead of fussing with tiny buttons, looks sick if you ask me. Should go for about $450 when released.

it has an eject button, so I assume it does tilt down.

Is this the replacement for the 9835? If so, why is it less?

Tilt as in a 3 position tilt like the 9833 has. That was what I was wondering. The tilt works great for getting rid of the glare, and getting a more direct view of the face.

No more V-drive and instead of the 6 buttons across the bottom it has a touch pad.
