Who got the Jack the Ripper hidden track or the other one? I got On the Arrow, but I know there are 2 more confirmed ones.

AFI turned into mainstream emo shit after Art of Drowning. Sing the Sorrow was so incredibly bad and such a disgrace to their older stuff that I don't even want to listen to the new album. :hs:

Its pretty much a whole new band, they lost the guitarist and bassist leading up to all hallow's ep, and art of drowning was sort of a transformation album. i like all afi music, very talented band that changes every album.

That's not saying much at all.

This seems more like an attempt at their doing post-punk/pop more than anything else. Suffice to say, I'm really disappointed by the album.

They succeeded at creating an emo/pop-punk album and they made the transormation to a major label step very well. Sing the sorrow was an amazing album, probably the most mature pop-punk album i've ever heard.

did anyone see AFI perform on the MTV video awards? Davy has turned into the biggest flamer nowadays. Not just the way he looks but his mannerisms are getting a little ridiculous. I love AFI but I'm starting to get turned off by him now :ugh:

Yeh, sure, they made the transition great, but it just seems to me that they abandoned everything that made them who they were. Might as well have changed their name, no one would've noticed.

 all hallow's EP. Davey has always been a little flamish. He has rocked the makeup for a long time now.

Yeh, but I mean, look at the difference in him between stuff like Third Season and Miss Murder. It's just crazy how different it is.

Are you in a band? i'm sure i wouldn't like to do the same thing for the rest of my career. I mean, every band has changed a bit since they started. It's natural, do you keep your room the same layout for 10+ years. It gets boring.

No, I know, I mean, I understand growth and progression, and that they can't keep doing the same thing forever, I just didn't see them going pop-punk.
