    good bike but I hate the fairings/tail.. well all the plastics... and the single front light.

    And after seeing the new Daytona 675 live.. no other bike in this price range is better looking.

    I saw the 06's in person this weekend and thought they looked hot except for the midget muffler.

    I am also a fan of a full-size fart cannon :p But alot of people argue it helps balance out the bike, center of gravity, etc.

    Gixxers are cool, but theyre played out here, which sucks. It seems like all new bike people know is the gixxer

    Motorcyclist magazine posted these results in this month's issue:

    Daytona 675:
    Quarter Mile - 10.72s @129.99mph
    0-60mph - 3.24s

    GSX-R600:
    Quarter Mile - 10.85s @ 129.52mph
    0-60mph - 3.48s

    IN FACT, the Daytona had a better 0-60 time and roll on than the GSX-R750

    Where do you get your slow numbers?

    hum, you mean as fast

    on the same track, same tires, the daytone was second fastest (by.1sec) behind the new R6, and significantly faster than ZX6R (3rd), gixxer (4th) and Honda (5th)

    you're trying to tell yourself it's slow, but it's goddam fast.

    Its a shame that it is as fast as it is. Becuase the AMA will never authorize it for super sport. Even though it fits perfectly into the rules of Super sport. THey (the AMA) like the way things are, and dont want to have anyone else come in and play their game, with their rules.

    I4 = 600
    I3 = 675
    L2 = 750

    Makes perfect sence to me.
