64bit Core 2 Duo 24" screen
There have clearly been several updates I haven't heard about. The series seems like a better deal than ever now. A wider range of sizes and prices, better video available on the 24", stock comes with 1GB ram now, and 64bit core 2 duo. I seriously think half my family should have these things.
I  imac
fuck buying a macpro.. i'm getting 24
$148 seems pretty low for the upgrade from 1GB to 2Gb of RAM... Especially for Apple
Finally, a fw 800 port. These things just went from being toys to being tempting.
they also upgraded the mini specs....no more core solo...
I like that
Damn it, my computers out of date. Nevermind. This is surely without doubt now the best desktop available on the market for a younger more creative culture? The 20" comes in at £999 which to get a monitor and similar spec would be tough
FW800 on it too now.
Upgradeable to 2.33 GHz and 3GB of RAM too.
waiting for the 30 inch imac
ditto, just got my 20" ~2months ago. got it from a freegift site so i'm not too upset though.
the 24" is gonna look friggen sick. people stopping by always say the 20" looks huge, let alone the 24".
BASTARDS!! i want a 24" now
damn i just got my 20'' in feb. might have to go to the reseller and see what it would cost to upgrade
Was planning on getting the Mac Pro.... simply because I wanted a bigger monitor than the iMac's 20".
I'll be getting in line now for that 24".
My poor old workhorse G4 Power Mac.......
I'm glad we didn't get the 20" iMac a few days ago now. Looks like it'll be 24" of pleasure
hah, my moms friend bought an imac last weekend, but theirs was custom ordered so i dont think they can return it for a new one
The increased ram is nice but does anyone else think 3 gb is a wierd number? Why not 4?
I was thinking that too. I thought they used dual-channel, in which case you pretty much want to stick with even numbers for best results.
more info? i'd never heard of this
24" is going to be a monster!
Can't wait till upgrade time next April...
this probably means the 23" is getting replaced soon
werd. I wonder if they'll keep the 20" in the lineup. Probably might.
