So I sold my SP2022 last weekend, I loved the gun, but the market for holsters and accessories for it was lacking, it didnt feel as good as the P226 I wanted.

So I searched for a whole week for a 226, and I finally got one today for a smoking deal, it's a 226ST, brand new in box, payed $650 for it...and it fits in my hand 10x better than the 2022 did.

Gonna take it to the range this weekend to break it win with about 300 rounds, and pick up some hogue grips while Im at it.

Anyone in phoenix down to shoot?

Took it to the range today, put 250 rounds too it, no FTF or FTE, and the slide locked back everytime after the last round.

I put hogue finger grips on it, and it feels about 20x better than my SP2022, the SP2022 right now feels way too wide. It shot very accurate, Id say a little more than my SP2022. The only thing was the SP2022s trigger was a bit better than this one, but hopefully after breaking it in it will get better.

I want a P229R so bad... but not an ST. I found a website that'll FFL it for $559 + dealer's FFL cost (about $25-$30). I'm still trying to figure out if thats even a legit deal... sounds really low for a NIB SIG P229R .40. I'm thinking about calling them.
