 It makes me want to poke myself in the eye with a hot cattle brand.

    Watch purchased end of january.

Bezel falls out and I superglue it back in around 2/10

    Watch ships 2/18

I call the company I sent it to in march they said the service center changed to a place in rhode island and they shipped all the watches to them.

3/24 they say its under warranty and will be 2 weeks

4/11 I call for the status and they say there is nothing wrong with it compared to a brand new watch. It will be shipping out within the next 2 days.

Pretty crappy for a 200 dollar watch.

I'm wondering why you used superglue on it instead of sending it in for warranty work when the bezel fell out.

And don't get a seiko or a sweet-ass rolex, get a kickass Tag.

I've had mine since 2000, had to replace the battery in it (twice, once every 4 years) and it's rock solid.

Never going back to quartz again.

I don't like Kinetic watches either.

Rolex is all about the case and the name not about the movement, they are not even certified chronometers.

    That's quite odd...

Mine on the dial says "Superlative Chronometer Offically Certified".

Every Rolex is sent to an independant testing agency to EARN this status.

TAGs are nice, too. I've got a Formula 1 and an Indy Chrono. Good watches they are! :naughty:

Oddly enough, I have a Tag aquaracer and a Luminox. I use the Lumi for hard use stuff which I wont care if it gets messed up. I also got it so I could have a watch with tritium tubes. So far the Lumi is a solid watch but doesnt even compare to the Tag. If my wife didnt mind I would have sex with the Tag.

Daddys home :big grin: saltzmans watches says their was nothing wrong with it. I guess when the tritium vial falls out and I have to superglue it. That's not wrong.

I was thinking along the lines of having sex WHILE wearing the TAG. Where she'd look up/over/back and see you staring at the watch and not her.

I do. I have this one:

All stainless case, sapphire-crystal glass, waterproof to...I dunno, really far down. (And no wrist rash!) The backplate is so hard to reinstall (because of the super-tight seal) that I actually broke the lense when I tried to do it myself, so I sent it to the repair depot in Nevada. Came back with a brand new lense AND casing, because apparently the lense is installed by heating the casing until it glows and letting it contract around the lense as it cools off again. Can't beat that kind of seal.

They also sent me a new chain, just for the hell of it. And all I paid for the whole thing was shipping costs. Gotta love a lifetime warranty, no questions asked.

(yes, I know they didn't just send me a whole new watch, because the scuffs on the backplate are still there.)

Don't forget tac-lights. I like this one for things that don't require high-intensity light:

LED lamp, polished reflector, milspec type-3 hard anodized finish (no dings when you drop it on concrete!), runs for a day on a single Energizer Lithium AAA battery. Brighter than a 2-AA Maglite.

Can't go wrong with Arc-AAA's. I have a CMG IU that I use in the woods and lots of headlamps. My daily stuff are Surefires tho.
