I was told when I bought my Mac that it would be possible to network with a Windows PC. I have them both hooked up to a router, and they share an internet connection, but how do I enter network settings into both?

    Thanks for your help.

    A couple of questions....

Do you have file and print sharing turned on on the PC?

Do you have any shares enabled on the PC?

Beyond that, I've found it extremely easy to get my Mac to see my PCs across the LAN. Just drill into the network, find the proper domain (Winders defaults to WORKGROUP IIRC) and find the PC. You'll probably have to enter some authentication info for the Mac (user and pass on the PC) and then you can mount any of the shares on that PC.

    Pretty straight forward IMO.
