I have one phone line in the house....up until now I have had only one computer connected to the internet, I now have another computer that i want to connect......computer 1 is connected in my room which has the DSL modem with it; can i connect another computer in my living room which is the same phone line but different phone jack w/o the dsl modem? can i just connect the computer directly to the phone jack w/ the supplied dsl filter connector?

    Thanks.....

I don't think you can do it that way.

Easiest solution would be to get a router.

Does each computer have a network card?
