Assuming you have a username and have successfully logged on to the domain, you either 1., don't have any shares set up, or 2., don't have permission to access those shares. Server 2003 by default does not grant access to "everyone" like 2000 server does.

so create an account for your other machine in the domain to which you want it to authenticate and login using that account

Ok update, I have one computer joined the domain (xp to 2003 server) .

Now when i try to join my other computer ( 2000 Pro, ) it joined the domain fine. After reboot and first log on I get this.

The system cannot log you on because the domain (domainname) is not available.

Now somebody told me to try this, however i need some pointers in the right direction.

Change the client's DNS configuration to point to the DNS supporting the
    directory (only)

The client computer is the 2000 pro comp ? how do i do this ?

    I suck
    Thanks

Find your network connection. Hit Properties on it, click on 'Internet Protocol TCP/IP'; then go ahead and hit the properties button below. The rest is just right in your face. I don't know if that will work though. Worth a try.
