network adapter xbox 360 help!

    I just need someone to tell me if this will work....

    I have an old Tivo wireless network adapter that connects usb, id like to know if this will work with the 360....as i would not like to pay like 70$ for there wireless adapter, but if i have no other option then so be it.....thanks for any help guys:wiggle:

    Yeah I wish u can just plug any USB wireless adapter into the xbox, but unfortunately Microsoft ain't gonna let that happen

    i believe the wireless adapter from the 1st xbox can work with the 360

    and can be had for about 30bux

    If you have an old linksys wrt54g you can flash it with openwrt or something of the like, set it up as a client to your wireless network and plug the xbox in through a lan port

    MS is apparently about to release a Wireless N adapter as well.

    hopefully for alot less than the old wireless adapter.

    the old one is now $65 new on amazon, new one is $85

    I bought it for $100 a few years back when i got my 360. :o

    We were out of plugs in the entertainment area and i was lazy. :x

    Yeah s2k is right,
    Some wireless adapters may work on your x-box but if you call into support with a problem they won't help you - for shame :'(

    It is complete BS that they can charge even $65 for a USB wireless adapter when I can go elsewhere and get one for $20... I have been running a Ethernet cable into my living room solely for my xbox... I use wireless for the PS3 and Wii...

    Wireless bridge (see my post) + switch = wireless through your ethernet port for all your needs.

    The cheapest bridge was $30, a switch can be found for less then that.
